Description

The City of Abbotsford (“City”) is located in British Columbia, adjacent to the Canada-United States border, Greater Vancouver and the Fraser River. Abbotsford is the largest city by area, and fifth largest by population, in British Columbia. The City has a role in supporting and providing services, programs and amenities that help to provide a robust quality of life for residents. The City’s vision sees Abbotsford as the regional centre of the Fraser Valley and home to centralized services and agencies including health care, courts, transportation, university, airport, provincial and federal government, entertainment & cultural facilities, and commerce.

The purpose of this RFP is to select a proposal for an educational consultant to design, organize and deliver a water education program for Abbotsford and Mission schools on behalf of the Abbotsford Mission Water & Sewer Commission. This program has been running since 2013 and requires program updates, development and presentations for Grades 2, 4 and 10, and Adult ESL classes.
