COL-23-51 - Professional Security Services

The City uses the services of security companies to meet its security obligations. The RFQ is intended to formalize contracted services with a successful Respondent(s) for the following services:
• Schedule #1 - Mobile Patrols
• Schedule #2 - Security Patrols–Galt Gardens
• Schedule #3 - City Hall Reception Duties
• Schedule #4 – Lethbridge Park and Ride
• Schedule #5 - Lethbridge Public Library
• Schedule # 6 – Alarm Response
These services are further described in the Scope of Work section below.
It is also the intention to pre-qualify successful Respondents for a range of ad-hoc security
services that are from time to time required by the City. These services include:
• Schedule #7 - Emergency Operations
• Schedule #8 - Fire Watches
• Schedule #9 - Enhanced Mobile Patrols
• Schedule #10 - Fire Watch – Lethbridge Fire
• Schedule #11 - Fire Investigations – Lethbridge Fire
The ad-hoc services are as required. When a need arises, scope of work will be provided to the security company. The costs and services will be pre-approved by the Facility Operations Manager or Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services.
