Description

This RFQ is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of a new Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Desktop 3D Printer, for delivery to Red Deer Polytechnic.
The Equipment will be used primarily for prototyping healthcare devices, but as familiarity with the capabilities grow, CIM-TAC expects to use the technology to produce prototypes for a variety of industry sectors, including but not limited to consumer products, energy, and agriculture.

RDP requires that the selected Equipment be delivered, off-loaded, and assembled at the location specified by March 31, 2023. It is critical that the specified date is met, quote will be disqualified if this date cannot be met.

The selected respondent will also be required to provide training to approximately two (2) individuals on using the Equipment, and basic repair and support services for the Equipment, under the directive of the Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing Technology Access Centre (CIM-TAC).

CIM-TAC may also require the selected respondent to provide troubleshooting services for assistance with projects for an estimated period of one year.

Quotations recieved will be evaluated via a three (3) stage method in which the highest ranking proponent will be invited to enter negotiations with RDP.
