Description

This Request for Proposals issued by the County of Minburn is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of Roadside Mowing services for 2023 mowing season.

The County of Minburn uses a Roadside Mowing program to enhance visibility along and to prolong the life of existing road/right of way infrastructure. This work involves the following:

1. One pass shoulder cut on approximately 1,414 miles of municipal roadside at locations provided by the County and as shown in Appendix D. Price proposals for the roadside mowing will be submitted as cost/mile mowed (both sides of road). Shoulder cuts must be completed between July 31, 2023 and September 30, 2023.

2. Shoulder cuts will include a 15-foot mow on all roads immediately adjacent to the driving surface on both sides of the roadway with a minimum of 8 feet in those areas that do not allow a full cut.
