Description

UBC Food Services is looking to learn more about current programs and availability for reusable container solution to support a new food outlet that will be built and located in the Brock Commons South Development area on the Point Grey Campus. Brock Commons Phase 2 (ubc.ca)
This new Food Outlet will be named Harvest/Hero and is a grocery, café and deli style market that provides take-out meals and basic groceries. The outlet is expected to service a daily customer Request for Information #2022062101 Page 7 of 17

count of 2000 and generate sales of $4M annually. UBC Food Services is seeking information and a better understanding of current programs for reusable container solutions.
While this program is specifically for the new Harvest Market there may be an opportunity to expand the reusable container program to other food locations on campus.
The University supports a reusable container program on campus and seeks to better understand how reusable container programs are managed, supported, and can be integrated into our operations.
