TENDER 2022-11 CAMPGROUNDS REJUVENATION PROJECT
Clear Hills County is seeking tenders for campground rejuvenation at the Running Lake, Stoney Lake and Sulphur Lake campgrounds that will restore the roadways, driveways and campsite pads to the original constructed dimensions in the three campgrounds.
Campgrounds:
Running Lake 23 campsite pads and driveways + campground roadways.
Stoney Lake 15 campsite pads and driveways + campground roadways.
Sulphur Lake 11 campsite pads and driveways + campground roadways.
Scope of Work:
• Removal of understory that has grown into the road right of ways, driveways and campsite pads.
• Repair of ruts, potholes and erosions on campsite pads, driveways and road right of ways.
• Reworking the gravel campsite pads and adding 4:20 spec gravel to provide level campsite pads.
o Remove fire pits prior to working on the campsite pads.
o Replace fire pits as close to original placement as possible once the campsite pad work is completed.
• Gravel road right of ways and campsite driveways with 4:20 spec gravel
• Contractor will be responsible for providing the 4:20 spec gravel.
• Contractor will be allowed to stay at the campground free of charge while performing the campground rejuvenation project at that campground.
• The campground will remain open to the public and no work on this project will be done Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Authorized work days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• The contractor will ensure that there is traffic accommodation so campers have the ability to enter and leave the campground when work is being done in the campground.
• This project is restricted to the campgrounds only and does not include the day use or boat launch areas at any of the three recreation areas.
• Mature trees are not included in the approved scope of work and are not to be removed.
Start date: Contracor must give Clear Hills County notification one week prior to start of work. Anticipated start date to be included in the tender.
Bidders will be requied to provide proof of valid insurance and Alberta WCB clearance with the sealed tender.

Faxed or emailed tenders will not be accepted.
Clear Hills County does not recommend using Courier Services, as service to the County office is very limited and there is no guarantee the tender will arrive on time.
Tenders will be opened on July 12, 2022, at 9:35 a.m. at a regular council meeting in the Clear Hills County Council Chambers. Clear Hills County reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders.
