Description

During times of increased wildfire activity within the Grande Prairie Forest Area, the Province may require additional sleeper trailers to be provided on an “as-needed” basis with no guarantees of work.

Upon request by the Province, sleeper trailers must arrive, and be operational at the corresponding fire base within 48 hours of said request.

Locations:

• Graham Fire Base - located 38km south of Grande Prairie (54.9398106,-118.8093222).

• Valleyview Fire Base - located 7.5km SSW of Valleyview along Highway 43 (55.023955,-117.3243248)

Sleeper trailers shall accommodate 8 – 10 personnel based upon single occupancy. A certified electrician will be provided by the Province to ensure all electrical connections meet industry standards.

Trailers shall adhere to all applicable codes and legislation including, but not limited to the Public Health Act.
