22-1550 - Better Value for City Assets ( BVCA )

This Solicitation is open to all interested vendors

The objective of this initiative is to develop and deliver a framework for identifying and evaluating opportunities to achieve additional value for investment in assets.
The framework must encompass new and innovative ideas designed to create additional asset value as well as the methodology to evaluate opportunities in support of decision-making.

The initial award is for Phase 1 only.

This first phase of the Better Value for City Assets (BVCA) program anticipates the following activities:
1) On Boarding, Orientation and Develop Work Plan
2) Investigation, Data Collection, Benchmarking and Analysis
3) Draft Report with Framework and Recommendations
4) Final Report with Framework and Recommendations

Upon completion of the first phase and subject to City of Calgary approval there is potential for subsequent work to undertake one or more additional phases consisting of:
1) Review/confirm high potential opportunities
2) Apply Framework/Methodology in analysis of opportunities
3) Recommendations and action
4) Evaluation of results

This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.

Agreement Term Phase 1 : 6 months
Agreement Term Optional Phase 2 : upon approval from The City
