Description

In an ongoing effort to ensure the Province’s wildfire facilities/infrastructure are in a constant state of preparedness, services of various trades persons will be required on an “as-needed” basis with no guarantee of work.

These persons include carpenters, painters, plumbers, gasfitters, welders, electricians, pile installers, tower riggers, concrete/asphalt finishers, commercial kitchen appliance specialists, communication technicians, mobile radio application technicians, generator technicians, pesticide/herbicide applicators, HVAC technicians, wastewater system designer and installers, heavy equipment landscapers, picker/crane/hotshot operators, occupational health and safety professionals, potable water specialists, outdoor power equipment specialists and warehouse storage systems specialists.

Facilities include but are not limited to air tanker bases, fire bases, fixed detection locations, telecommunications sites, weather stations, staff accommodations, warehouses, etc.
