Description

The purpose of this RFP is to invite prospective Proponents to submit Proposals to work with and support KCLTC, in its development and construction of the Lands (collectively, the “Project”). KCLTC’s overall goal of the Project is to create a long-term revenue stream that KCLTC can utilize to support the operations, the future expansion of the facilities and the overall finances of Keyano College, a post-secondary college located in the City Fort McMurray within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (“RMWB”), Alberta. The Lands are located in the south east of the City of Fort McMurray within the larger 611 acre KCLTC development that incorporates future residential development. The Lands are comprised of approximately 44 acres within the Lands zoned Regional Commerical District and Village Commercial District see Appendix C for location details.

KCLTC is desirous of engaging with a Proponent that can assist with the goals of KCLTC referenced above and provide a strategic development and construction method that is cognizant to the strategic plans for the overall development of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and the economic and societal conditions of the City of Fort McMurray.
