NOTICE TO VENDORS
Upcoming Procurement Opportunity

BCNET is providing potential procurement opportunity with early notice on the following forthcoming scheduled project for advertising on BCBid.

Project Title: Request for Proposal (RFP) Security Guard and Related Services.

BCNET intends to post this RFP to solicit competitive proposals for procuring Security Guard and Related Services for Post-Secondary Sector. The objective of this RFP includes:
· Secure value and competitive rates based on aggregation of spend by participating members
· Implement cost containment programs, price ceilings on rates to mitigate cost increases over the term and establishing mid to long term budget visibility are important considerations.
· Align security and safety services with BC Government legislative requirements and institutions' programs and approaches to address current risks on campus; and mitigate risks associated with high turnover in industry,
· Reduce administrative efforts and duplicated resources from existing multiple security supplier arrangement and fragmented services to aggregated streamlined, value-added quality services.
· Align, support and promote BCNET Members value for Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) initiatives.
