Description

The City of Edmonton (the “City”) invites bidders to submit bids for this Sourcing Event for the provision of mowers (Golf, Lawn & Turf Equipment) of varying configurations, sizes, capacity, and fuel types for the City of Edmonton on an if, as, and when required basis.

The main configurations of the equipment includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Wide Area Mowers consisting of new diesel powered, 192 inch riding mower (Unit) suitable for mowing sports fields, parks and roadside green spaces within the City. The unit will be driven on City streets between work locations. It will be required to climb curbs in order to access the turf areas. These units may also be fitted with front rotary broom attachments and used to clear snow in winter and collect sand and light gravel in the spring.
- Green Reel Mower and other sizes and capacity of similar configuration consisting of new gasoline powered greens mower (Unit) suitable for maintaining the greens at City owned golf courses. The unit will be used for daily operations with frequent starts and stops.
- Zero Turn Mower and other sizes and capacity of similar configuration consisting of new gasoline powered Zero Turn Mower (Unit) suitable for maintaining the greens at various locations within the City. The unit will be used for daily operations with frequent starts and stops.
- Units that fall within OR similar to the listed 3 categories, configured for alternate fuel source and/or multiple fuel sources
