Description

The City of St. Albert (City) is seeking Tenders from Bidders interested in supplying and installing:
(a) Fire Station Alerting System (FSAS) and/or station controllers at two (2) of the City’s Fire Stations (Fire Station No. 2 (FS2) and Fire Station No. 3 (FS3)), and
(b) two (2) servers (primary and backup) for the FSAS.
(c) The Bidder is required to purchase all required FSAS components, including required components not specifically listed in this ITT. The City’s required components are listed in Appendix F to this ITT.
(d) The Bidder is required to connect the City’s Fire Stations to the FSAS and servers, currently three (3) Fire Stations need to be connected, and
(e) provide four (4) years ongoing maintenance, servicing, and support to the City’s Fire Stations after the warranty periods are over.

2. Details of this project including the background, scope of work and technical information are provided in Appendix C, Appendix E and Schedule A to this ITT.
For the City to consider a Tender, Bidder’s proposed new fire station alerting system must be new, supported by the manufacturer for a minimum of five (5) years from this Tender Submission Deadline date and have the capacity to integrate/interface with the City’s existing voice and data systems listed below, they are:
(a) CentralSquare FDM Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system,
(b) Radio System Communications Infrastructure (AFRRCS),
(c) Avtec Scout Console System used for fire dispatch.
The manufacturer, make and model of the above systems are listed in Appendix C.
