Description

Red Deer County is comprised of 10 hamlets, 75 residential multi-lot subdivisions and 11 industrial and
commercial business parks, spanning across 60 townships (in part or whole), for a total area of
approximately 3,949 square kilometers.
The work consists of providing equipment, fuel, labour, and supervision to mow and trim turf on an
average of 60 hectares weekly of municipally-owned lands within Red Deer County. These lands include:
- Municipal reserves, day use areas, waste transfer sites and public utility lots;
- Areas surrounding county features such as entrance signs and boulevards;
- County-owned or leased properties; and
- Isolated and specific pieces of land adjacent to internal subdivision roads.
