HVC-2019 - Industrial HVAC Services

• Provide ACRWC with a single point of contact when communicating with the Service Provider.
• As the plant runs 24/7, emergencies do arise, we require an after hours contact. Normal hours for the Maintenance Department are 7am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7 am to 3:15 pm every other Friday, when normal Maintenance duties are expected to occur.
• ACRWC Maintenance Department schedules work one week in advance and the Service Provider will be required to make this commitment. Ideally, changes in schedule will have 24 hours notice. Weather and process conditions may impact schedules on short notice. Describe your internal scheduling process.
• Estimates/ quotes are required before any work commences.
• It is preferred if most of the service can be provided by 1 or 2 Technicians who become familiar with the equipment. Technicians will be ticketed and competent trades people in Refrigeration Air conditioning or gas fitting as required. If work requires two people, indentured apprentices are acceptable as the second.
• Abilities to trouble shoot ESC control systems, louver controls, etc. required.
• Desirable if the service provider could conduct air balancing tests as required.
• Service Provider to have the capability to provide full reports on work completed in a timely manner. Describe internal process of how reports are reported.
• Reports should include, but not be limited to, description of problem and actions taken to correct, plus any red line drawings required. As well, provide recommendations for improvement and maintainability. For future budgeting, provide equipment condition assessments and expected life remaining.
• It is desirable if the Service Provider can provide input to the Engineering Design review team on HVAC system projects, on behalf of the Maintenance Department, regarding Maintainability, Ergonomics, Industry best practices and constructability issues.
• Service Provider to provide current rate sheets.
• Service Provider to include three references for similar types of work.
