April 04, 2018. This is in response to a received query:
It's EPSB's intention to lease Dark Fibre to connect these locations to our existing fibre presence, light them with our own network optics, and connect them to our private network. EPSB is not looking for a managed network services for these locations.

It is the intent of Edmonton Public Schools (EPS) to enter into a contract with Epcor Dark Fibre Services Inc., for the lease of dark fibre services.
The current requirement will connect two administrative buildings (Donald Ross School and Edmonton Public Schools Maintenance Building to the Centre for Education) using Epcor fibre to connect to Cybera Fibre located at Scotia Place, which then connects to EPS owned in-ground fibre.

If no inquiries or concerns are received (to pcs@epsb.ca) on or before Wednesday, April 04, 2018, 2:00:00 PM local time, Edmonton Public Schools will enter into a contract with
Epcor Dark Fibre Services, Inc.
