PURPOSE / SCOPE OF WORK:

The work generally consists of the renewal of the sanitary system and installation of new storm
system on Main Street between King Street and the Chateau Moncton, including the installation
of a new storm outfall to the south of Main St. on the west bank of the Petitcodiac River near
Chateau Moncton. Work consists of installing approximately 357 metres of new storm (various
sizes), 277 metres of renewed sanitary (various sizes), and water piping on Main Street. The
Contract includes and is not limited to constructing a new storm main, sewer main renewals,
watermain renewal, storm outfall, surface reinstatement, repairs to existing buried infrastructure,
asphalt, curb, sidewalk, and landscaping. Work also includes the mill and pave of Main Street
between Mechanic Street and the City limits (including bridge).
