Description

The Municipality of Kincardine requires a contractor to supply and install a new Breathing Air Compressor, a new cascade air storage cylinder set up and a new remote fill station at the Kincardine Fire Station (127 Mahood Johnston Dr., Kincardine, ON). The contractor will also be expected to remove the existing Breathing Air Compressor/fill station unit without damaging it.

The Municipality seeks to purchase one breathing air compressor system and related components for use by the Municipal Fire Department. The unit shall include the following major capabilities:
• System air quality meets “Grade E” and CSA Standards Z180.1 and Z94.4
• Capable of producing 6000psi and greater than 10 SCFM
• Fill a minimum of three 4500 air cylinders at one time
• Equipped with CO monitoring
• 230 volt single phase power

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Kincardine Fire Station at 11 a.m. EST on August 6th, 2024.
Optional attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly encouraged.
