Description

Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) 2024-06

ALBERTA'S PASSENGER RAIL MASTER PLAN

The primary objectives of this Request for Expression of Interest (“RFEI”) are to formally signal government’s interest and intent to prospective proponents in pursuing passenger rail, gauge consultant interest and capacity to deliver a comprehensive and evidence-driven Master Plan, and seek consultant input on the form of procurement, via the forthcoming RFP structure, that would give government the best outcome in terms of leveraging industry capacity.

This RFEI is not a competitive bid process and will not result in a contract award. Following review of the responses to this RFEI, the province intends to issue an RFP using a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) procurement approach.
