Description

Generally, the Work consists of the removal of one (1) water valve and the removal and replacement of two (2) water valves at the Lakeland College Lloydminster, AB Campus. During repairs in 2022, two (2) of the valves could not be closed and one (1) of the valves was challenging to close. As a preventative measure, the College intends to remove one (1) of the valves and replace two (2) – 300mm diameter water valves and one (1) – 300mm diameter water tee on the east side of the Lloydminster Campus to ensure the water can be turned off at the appropriate areas of the College should a water main break occur, and the system has to be isolated to facilitate repairs.
The Work generally consists of the following:
• The removal of one (1) – 300mm water valve,
• The removal and replacement of two (2) – 300mm water valves,
• The removal and replacement of one (1) – 300mm water tee,
• Flushing and disinfection, including coordination with the City of Lloydminster Water Services Department,
• The subsequent topsoil/seeding, and
• All other related work.
