23-58141 - Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of one Differential Scanning Calorimeter System (DSC)

The National Research Council Canada (NRC) requires… The National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Winnipeg site, is seeking to acquire a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC). The DSC is employed to analyze thermal properties of thermoplastic and thermoset polymers, composites, polymer blends, multilayer polymer films and laminates, organic and inorganic substances, and various chemicals. The equipment must be able to detect various thermal events, separate overlapping transitions and complex thermal events, and measure physical and chemical changes involving endothermic or exothermic processes, or changes in heat capacity, such as melting, glass transition, crystallization, curing, multiple melting peaks, and multiple glass transitions. Since the equipment will be used primarily to evaluate multilayer polymer films, polymer blends, and laminates, it must feature modulated temperature to separate overlapping transitions and complex thermal events.
The work consists of supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the system and all accessories at the NRC address and training on equipment use; all of the work must be completed by January 31, 2024.
