Description

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is seeking to develop capacity to monitor real time low concentrations of Ozone in indoor environments. The environments will be occupied and the concentrations of ozone will range from extremely low (near zero) to several parts per billion. This is in response to new technologies are being added to the indoor environment that may for ozone as a byproduct. Ozone is a harmful gas which has several negative health impacts. The new capacity will be used both in lab and in field studies to monitor ozone in real time to directly measure the byproduct formation of new technologies. As it is an occupied setting the pumps and related equipment from the equipment must be quiet enough to not impact occupants.
