Description

His Majesty the King (HMTK) in right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is planning to issue a Request for Bids (RFB) to acquire a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for a Transportation Asset Management System (TAMS) (“the Solution”). The Solution will be an enterprise application used by MTO staff to manage provincially-owned highway infrastructure assets, conduct cross-asset optimization and prioritization and to publish data to / retrieve data from other MTO systems.
Scope of Work
The scope of the Solution includes:
• A SaaS solution to accommodate large-scale options analysis and perform complex calculations to determine the optimal timing and treatment for the maintenance of assets in good condition over the long-term in a cost-effective manner;
• Ability to house an inventory of highway infrastructure asset information and functionality to integrate with the ministry’s Data Broker Tool (DBT) and other internal systems; and
• Ability to support and inform decision making in managing not only pavements and structures, but other provincially owned assets within a single system.
