The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for an oil and water separator custom fit for the Madawaska Rivier Dam.
A highly recommend site visit will be held on Monday May 15, 2023. The City representative will be present. This visit will be held on site at 5, Ferry Avenue, Edmundston, NB (under the Boucher Bridge) and the visits will be by appointment, one company at a time. The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2022-78 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2022- 306), apply to this tender.
The latest revision and amendments of the Regulations of the Crown Construction Contract Act, as amended, apply to this contract (Regulation 82-109).
A Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price, or a certified cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act and the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act, (OC 2021-273) including
the requirement a Labour and Material Payment Bond in substantially the same form as Form 18 and a Performance Bond in substantially the same form as Form 19 of the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked "OIL WATER SEPARATOR SYSTEM, TENDER CALL 2023-028, MAY 25, 2023," will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Development Department, 2nd floor at City Hall, 7 Canada Road, Edmundston, NB, by mail or e-mail until 2:00 p.m. (local time).

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
