Description

The SEAPARC Arena is cooled via an ammonia refrigeration plant which currently utilizes a shell and tube brine chiller. This chiller has reached the end of its serviceable life, and as a result, will be replaced as part of this project. This chiller will be replaced with a low-charge Alfa Laval plate and frame heat exchanger complete with U-Turn liquid separator. Additionally, the facility’s two existing brine pumps will be removed and replaced with a single brine pump fitted with a variable frequency drive (VFD).

A mandatory pre-tender site meeting for general contractors will be held at SEPARC Leisure Complex located at 6128 Phillips Road, Sooke BC on April 4th, 2023 at 10:00am Tenders from non-attendees may be rejected by the Owner and returned unopened to the Tenderer.
