QUESTION:
Change Management is mentioned as one of your areas of focus however there is not a section for Change Enablement/Management in 'Appendix A: Requirements'. Can you please confirm if Change Enablement/Management is in scope for this RFP?
ANSWER:
Yes, Change Management is in scope with the understanding that CCNB wants to improve the overall management of the different IT Management Services identified in Appendix A resulting in a better understanding of the impacts on our clients. Please complete Appendix A including any details that would support Change Management
QUESTION:
Regarding requirement 1.3. Our solution does not have a Canadian Datacenter, but it offers GDPR compliant data centers that are located in Europe. Would this be an acceptable solution for CCNB, or is Canadian data residency a mandatory requirement to be compliant with the RFP?
ANSWER:
Canadian data residency is not mandatory. All requirements in section "1. General information" are stated "Mandatory" because Vendors must provide the information requested.
QUESTION:
Regarding requirement 2.6. Can you please expand on this requirement? What are CCNB's use cases / needs regarding M365 multitenancy, and how would the new ITSM solution play a role in it?
ANSWER:
Typically, postsecondary institutions use one M365 tenant for administrative staff, faculty, and students. However, CCNB uses two M365 tenants :
-"ccnbca.onmicrosoft.com" for administrative staff and faculty
-"monccnb.onmicrosoft.com" for students
Multitenancy may or may not play a role in the proposed ITSM solution, depending on if authentication and/or integration is mandatory through both tenants for ITSM solution to operate. If this has no impact on proposed solution, please specify.
