Description

Notice is hereby given of Vancouver Island Regional Library`s intent to use Dell, Incorporated as its sole source provider in facilitating the Libraries Strategic Plan and to create functional, safe and clear workplaces for our staff and patron use with standard hardware platforms system wide.

Challenge Notice

Vendors wishing to challenge VIRL’s decision should email the Contact Person an objection by no later than the Objection Deadline as noted on the cover page of this notice. Email subject line needs to reference the NOI number stated on the cover page. Telephone queries will not be responded to and information obtained from any other sources may be not relied upon.
The email must outline specific reasons for the objection.

3. Determining the merits and legitimacy of the challenge is in the full and unfettered discretion of VIRL based on the challenge presented and VIRL’s review of it.
4. If any objection has sufficient credence to persuade VIRL that a fully qualified vendor, other than an anticipated Direct Award Vendor identified in this NOI, is able to meet the entire service and supply criterion, then VIRL may choose to publicly compete the goods and services.
