Description

NYGH is seeking up to three (3) Preferred Proponent to assist in the placement of end-to end positions for each of the following four (4) categories on an ad-hoc basis.
The four (4) categories are:
1) Board Governor
2) CEO
3) Vice President
4) Director (may also include Senior Director, Manager and Senior Manager)

Proponents may submit Proposals for one (1) category, more than one (1) category, or all categories. Each category will be evaluated separately.
Scope of Work
1. For all four (4) categories, the Proponents should be able to:
a) Support all facets of the recruitment process including: identification of potential qualified candidates, applicant screening, short-listing candidates, testing, interviewing, referencing and selection;
b) Gain a thorough understanding of the Purchaser’s business, industry, organizational structure, culture, vision, ideals and preferences;
c) Develop a comprehensive job profile, listing position’s parameters such as responsibilities, accountability, expectations, challenges and opportunities;
d) Provide the Purchaser with a shortlist of qualified prospects;
e) Conduct thorough reference checks of successful candidates;
f) Negotiate favourable employment terms and conditions;
g) Follow through to facilitate integration and ensure the Purchaser’s satisfaction;
h) Handle all administrative details related to the category search;
i) Demonstrate their approach and significant experience with a lens on equity, diversity, and inclusion in the successful end-to-end recruitment of candidates;
j) Highlight their key strengths in comparison to their competitors with providing similar recruitment services to organizations of similar size, type, complexity and scope within the healthcare industry;
k) Provide knowledgeable and timely support;
l) Identify candidates who possess a complementary combination of skills and attributes including governance and strategic planning experience, leadership, as well as an appreciation for the role that equity, diversity and inclusion play in delivering excellent care in a community setting; and
m) Provide a guarantee that the successful candidate will remain with the Purchaser for a minimum of one (1) year – in the event that the successful candidate does not complete one (1) year of service, the Proponent is expected to undertake a second search under the same terms and conditions as the original contract, without any additional fee.
