Description

The OPGT is seeking to engage an organization to provide Investment Consulting Services. The organization must demonstrate its capabilities to perform the Deliverables in the RFB by including pertinent details of the experienced individuals that will be assigned to work with the OPGT. The provision of Investment Consulting Services led by an Investment Consultant shall include:
1. Production of quarterly performance measurement reports evaluating the investment performance of the OPGT funds and mandates under active management.
2. Preparation and deliver of monthly returns of OPGT’s funds and associated benchmark performance.
3. Attend quarterly meetings with the OPGT’s Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) and report on quarterly performance and any other identified issues for discussion with the IAC;
4. Annual review of the OPGT’s Statement of Investment Policies and Goals (SIP&Gs) for each Fund.
5. Ongoing reporting of identified issues or requested topics for discussion with the OPGT and the (IAC).
6. Provide proactive advice, industry updates and recommendations to the OPGT as it relates to investments, risk mitigation and other considerations including fund managers such as key staff turnover, ownership changes, OSC investigations, litigation etc.
Scope of Work
Commencing in April 2023, technical investment consulting services are required to measure investment performance and provide oversight of OPGT’s proprietary investment fund managers. Performance measurement reports will be required monthly (fund returns and benchmark return) and quarterly (fund returns, benchmark returns and comparative money manager universes). Attendance at quarterly investment committee meetings in Toronto is required.
