Description

The Integrated Infrastructure Services Department, Transportation Planning and Design, Engineering Services Section, Environmental Engineering Group, is responsible for the provision of advanced environmental expertise to diverse City areas. This includes environmental work to support projects in all areas of the City including natural areas and the City of Edmonton’s North Saskatchewan River Valley and tributaries. This includes environmental work related to wetlands and projects that have requirements for wildlife passage considerations or require technical specialists in the broad field of biophysical science.
The Biophysical Consulting Services Standing Arrangement will be used across the City of Edmonton and managed/coordinated by Engineering Services to support projects, strategy, policy development, and emergent issues, as required.
