Description

BC Hydro is seeking to reinforce telecom circuits in its Bulk Electric System Telecom Network by accessing existing or planned dark fibre in close proximity to nineteen (19) BC Hydro sites via a long-term indefeasible right of use (IRU) agreements.

Notice is hereby given by BC Hydro of its intent to issue a limited RFP to Shaw Communications Inc. and TELUS Communications Inc. only, seeking proposals for the potential supply of the aforementioned services.

Delivery or completion date is 2025.

This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
