Project Scope:

The City is publishing a Request for Information (RFI) from experienced software firms who can provide details on their Animal Shelter Management System that effectively manage the following activities:

a. intake of cats, dogs, and additional species
b. ability to manage animal licenses and permits online,
c. flexible fee rates and animal licensing terms,
d. medical treatment of animals while in the shelter’s care,
e. download attachments, photos of animals,
f. accept payments, produce receipts,
g. create reports, statistics, and cost analysis,
h. multi-channel communication options, intuitive post-marketing messages, and
i. other opportunities to improve pet owners experience.

Intent:

The City intends to assess the information collected from this RFI to:
a. Determine the general level of interest from the market, industry.
b. Determine the solutions available from the market/industry as it relates to The City’s requirements; and
c. Prepare for a subsequent procurement process.
