The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:

Item 1:

GSIN: N1305 –Ammunition through 30mm

Description: Cartridge Calibre .22 inch Ball Long Rifle 40 Grain ammunition

The requirement is for the supply of Cartridge Calibre .22 inch Ball Long Rifle 40 Grain ammunition to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The ammunition will be used for competitions and training, and for use with the Anschutz 1403, Anschutz 1827, and Lee-Enfield rifle No. 7 Mk1 weapons.

Quantities: 900,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 March 2023

600,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 March 2023

Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge

There are no security requirements associated with this procurement. 

2. Controlled Goods

This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program.

3. Trade Agreements

This procurement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

4. Federal Contractors Program

The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement.
