BCFSA is a Vancouver-based Independent regulatory Crown Agency of the British Columbia Government that regulates the financial services industries in British Columbia, including credit unions, trust and insurance companies, pension plans, mortgage brokers, and the Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation. Its mandate is to protect the public against the insolvency of financial institutions, prevent improper market conduct in the financial services sectors, provide deposit insurance for members of B.C. credit unions and ensure the solvency of pension funds.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to advise to the business community that BCFSA is seeking one (1) or two (2) qualified Consultants to facilitate the recruitment and selection process for the BCFSA Executive level (i.e., Director, Executive Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President, etc.).

The Consultants must be experienced in providing executive search services to assist BCFSA executives in identifying and recruiting the most qualified candidates that possess the required knowledge, background, experience, qualifications, and any other requirements that will bring the recruitment process to a successful result.

BCFSA anticipates the initial term of the Contract will be for three (3) years starting at contract signing with the possibility of two (2) - one (1) year extensions. Contract extensions are at the discretion of BCFSA.

The selected firm(s) should have demonstrated experience with executive searches in public and/or private sector organizations.
