Description

The purpose of this RFI is to obtain industry feedback on high speed digital printing equipment available in the market.
This RFI is not a call for tender. No agreement or contract will be entered into based on this RFI. The information gathered will be used to assist in drafting performance specifications (which are subject to change) when a Request For Proposal (RFP) is issued for the requirements described herein.
This RFI focuses on two areas where high-volume, high-speed digital printing is required.
The WCB’s “Document Management” unit provides the following printing services:
• Digital copying
• Bindery services
• Prescheduled high-volume / high-speed printing of documents during specific time periods
• Printing requests with identified delivery dates and finishing requirements
• Occasional last minute/urgent printing requests
The “Access to Information” unit has a printer/copier in a common area that requires a high speed printer to accommodate the high print volumes in the area.
