Description

The Town of Whitecourt is currently seeking proposals for the review and update of its Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw, as well as for its North Flats Area Structure Plan. These updates are to be based upon the review and revision of the current plans including amendments, input from stakeholders, provincial legislation, and emerging issues and trends in sustainable community planning.

The Consultant will be responsible for the preparation of all text for the new Municipal Development Plan, Land Use Bylaw, and North Flats Area Structure Plan. The existing documents will be provided in Word format for use by the Consultant if they so choose.

The Consultant will be responsible for compiling all of the text and mapping information into interim and final documents.

The Consultant will be responsible for preparation of all public engagement and public hearing materials, as well as summary documents of engagement findings and proposed amendments to the plans.
