Description

The WSIAT seeks to rent three (3) monochrome, high volume print/copy production devices (plus impression costs) each capable of printing a minimum of 100 pages per minute, of stapling 100 pages at a time with variable paper stock and producing a minimum of 5 million aggregate impressions annually.
Scope of Work
Rental of three (3) monochrome, high volume print/copy production devices (plus impression costs) each capable of printing a minimum of 100 pages per minute, of stapling 100 pages at a time with variable paper stock and producing a minimum of 5 million aggregate impressions annually.

The WSIAT seeks to rent each device for a set monthly fee and pay a ‘per image’ fee monthly. The cost of all toner, developer, fuser oils, drums, plates or belts, etc. and all other consumables, scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, full service support, repair parts and labour are included in these fees (exceptions include paper, staples or staple wire and electrical power).

The WSIAT currently operates three high volume, monochrome, production devices in its Print Shop. The devices will reach the end of their rental periods in September, 2022.

The WSIAT Print Shop provides critical, time sensitive print and copy services for both internal and external clients. In 2019, there were 13 million impressions completed. In 2020 and 2021, these numbers were decreased significantly as the pandemic required remote access to documents (approximately 4.4 and 3.7 million impressions respectively). Future volumes are challenging to predict given the fluctuating operational requirements. Flexibility will be key moving forward.

The first device will be installed in a staging area on or about September 1, 2022 in order to be tested by WSIAT personnel.

The Vendor will be notified of device acceptance on or about September 16, 2022. The Vendor may then deliver the final 2 devices on or about September 19, 2022. The rental of all three devices will begin on or about September 19, 2022.
