Description

Northern Sunrise County requires the services of one or more Environmental Consultants for technical support including, but not limited to the following:

 Provide advice, as requested, regarding the County’s environmental programs. This includes updating administration on the state of the practice in biology and the regulations that apply to the work that is delivered by and for the County

 Assist with the Water Quality Monitoring Program: NSC conducts sampling in spring, early summer, late summer, and fall. Samples are sent to Lab, results are shared with consultant, the consultant provides analysis of results and identifies any areas of concern to the Watershed Advisory Committee (WAC).

 Update the Heart River Watershed Management Plan

 Assist with the objectives of the WAC as outlined in the Heart River Watershed Management Plan Terms of Reference

On occurrence, consultants will:

 Attend WAC meetings as requested to provide professional guidance and technical presentations to the group

On an as requested basis, scope to be negotiated at the time for:

 Assistance with grant application writing related to environmental programming needs

 Developing the Riparian Health Assessment
