1220-2022-2715A - Grass Mowing, Trimming & Litter Collection (PARKS)

The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from qualified proponents for the provision of full litter collection and grass mowing services for the City of Abbotsford Parks and City owned lands.
The contract expected term of this agreement is three (3) years, with two (2), one (1) year options to renew upon mutual agreement of both parties in writing.


The scope of services will include supply of all labour, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for, or incidental to Grass Mowing, Trimming & Litter Collection services, throughout the City, such that each site is left in a clean and tidy condition suitable for unhindered public visits. All Grass clippings are to be disposed of at a green waste facility and litter collected removed from each site and disposed of at an approved waste disposal site. "Equipment" means the provision by the Contractor of well-maintained equipment suitably powered and sized to carry out grass mowing in the most efficient manner while causing minimum disruption to the public. All fuels, lubricants, servicing, mobilization and demobilization of equipment is the cost of the successful contractor. No other costs will be accepted by the City unless the City has specifically requested an additional service.
