for BC Children's and Women's Hospital Site Energy Plant Revised Options and Business Plan

Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) intends to extend the contract with DIALOG BC Architecture Engineering Interior Design Planning Inc. (DIALOG) for consultant services for the BC Children's and Women's Hospital Site (BCCWH) Energy Plant Revised Options and Business Plan. The scope of work if to prepare an additional option (option 4) to include in the revised business plan for the replacement/upgrading of the existing energy plant at BCCWH.
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $20,000.00 - plus tax. PHSA has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
· DIALOG has performed and completed work on the previous phases of the business plan including the Eco-energy System Business Plan and the revised three options of the Energy System Business Plan for the BCCWH site.
· DIALOG has been working with the sub-consultants that developed portions of the report for both, Eco-energy Systems BP and the revised Business Options since September 2020.
· DIALOG has established working relationships with the PHSA project team and broad stakeholders.
· DIALOG has knowledge of the BCCWH site and existing infrastructure.
· DIALOG is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
· DIALOG has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
· DIALOG has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all non-owned vehicles in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00.
· DIALOG has Professional Errors and Omissions Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence.
