Description

The City of Edmonton plays an important role over 4,500 hectares of maintained parkland and open space. If River Valley parkland is included, the City boasts over 460 Parks and open space. This parkland includes 400,000 trees, 235 kilometers of trails, 18 major and 75 minor park bridges and 341 playgrounds and 67 spray parks.

Open Space Infrastructure Delivery are responsible for the Construction of various City projects in the areas of soft and hard landscaping, parks facilities; such as, minor buildings, spray parks, playgrounds, wooden stairs, river valley parkland and golf course, just to name few.
