The Office of the Ombudsperson is an Independent Office of the Legislature that hosts a corporate services work unit called Corporate Shared Services (CSS) for three other Independent Offices of the Legislature which include the Information and Privacy Commissioner, the Police Complaint Commissioner and the Merit Commissioner (The Offices).

The Offices are seeking proposals for a single contractor to enter into a multi-year lease to:
1. Upgrade and replace all of the currently leased MFDs with more recent technology and new machines that offer effective and efficient management of documents.
2. Provide all related goods and services, technical support, and routine maintenance of machines, billing, hardware/software updates, troubleshooting support, reusable supplies if applicable and any other items a vendor chooses to include in their proposal.
3. Provide in-house first line of support for all issues with respect to MFDs operations and updates, including meter reads, servicing equipment to resolve technical issues, or servicing equipment to maintain performance.

The timeline for delivery of the above-noted services is by March 31, 2021. The service delivery location is in Victoria, with the potential for one satellite office on the lower mainland to be added as a future service delivery location.
