RESTORATION OF COVER, EROSION PROTECTION, AND STABILIZATION BERM CONSTRUCTION - RIVERS & MINIOTA AREAS, MANITOBA

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
For the supply of all supervision, labour, plant, tools, equipment, material, transportation, loading and unloading, and warranty of workmanship and materials as required to complete the work, all in accordance with Request For Quotation 042448, as per the following items:

Section 100: WCC-2841 RESTORATION OF COVER AND ROCK-LINED CHUTE (MER#2020-04719)
The scope of work for the restoration of cover and gully erosion protection works at Brandon District site WCC-2841 is described herein, and on Drawing No. 1‑T0501‑DE‑12000‑0002 0001, hereafter referred to as the Purchaser’s Drawing.

Section 200: GEO-0059 STABILIZATION BERM (MER#2020-04306)
The scope of work for construction of the stabilization berm at Westman District site GEO‑0059 is described herein, and on Drawing No. 1-T0301-DE-12000-0003 0001, hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser’s Drawing.

Approximate Completion Date: November 5, 2021

MANDATORY SITE VISIT (ONLY REQUIRED IF BIDDING ON SECTION 200)

A mandatory Site visit will be held on OCTOBER 7, 2021 at 12:00PM for all potential Proponents. See Appendix A for site information & location.

To register the name(s) and number of a Proponent’s representatives wishing to attend the Site visit, each Proponent shall contact the Enquires contact on the Cover Page.

Proponent representatives will be required to wear their own hard hats, reflective clothing, and safety footwear while on the Site. Failure to attend with all required safety gear will be cause for refusal to allow persons on Site.

Each Proponent’s representative will be required to legibly record the Proponent’s and his/her personal name and signature on Manitoba Hydro's Site sign-in sheet as evidence of attendance at the Site visit.

Failure to attend a mandatory Site visit shall disqualify a potential Proponent from further participation in this procurement process.
