Description

Supply of Overhead Line Construction and Maintenance Contractor Services Relating to Strike-Line Contracts was asked to provide on call/standby distribution contractor services for the Thompson, Brandon, Winnipeg and Eastern Manitoba area. The services commenced on June 29 and concluded on July 21, 2023.The work was mainly emergency restoration work on the 66kV subtransmission network and on the distribution system (25kV and below). The assignments includes responding to pole fires, no power calls, vehicle damage, etc. The contractors were dispatched directly from the strike operation centers.
