Description

The Toronto Police Service and the Toronto Police Services Board (collectively, the "TPS") is soliciting proposals from fully-qualified vendors to provide a commercially available, turn-key, cloud-based body-worn camera system ("BWC") that shall be able to capture video from a law enforcement officer’s perspective and store the recorded video in a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) solution.
The BWC project scope will consist of five (5) major components:

body-worn cameras;
video management software and data storage as part of an external cloud solution (SaaS);
improvement of the redaction process and tools for video and audio evidence assets;
transcription tools to automate the audio transcription for court and Freedom of Information (“FOI”) requests; and
electronic disclosure for court proceedings.
