A mandatory bidder’s meeting and site tour to review the existing electrical infrastructure will be held
at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (“the Airport”) on:
April 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. EDT
Bidders are requested to meet at the top of the escalator in the Air Terminal Building (island side),
beside Gateway Newsstand for a project briefing, followed by a site tour of the existing outdoor
transformer and other electrical infrastructure. Participants can access the Air Terminal Building by
taking the airport ferry or through the pedestrian tunnel. Airfield transportation, if needed, will be
arranged by the airport.
To facilitate security arrangements, Bidders shall provide the names of attendees to the Project
Contact Person 48 hours in advance. Each bidder is limited to two representatives at the pre-bid
meeting. A valid passport or driver’s license will be required for the site tour. High visibility safety
vests are required and other personal protection equipment (i.e., safety boots) are recommended.
Tenderers are required to attend the Pre-Tender Meeting and Site Visit arranged by the Owner.
Please note that due to airport operations, individual site tours cannot be accommodated. Hence,
attendance at the scheduled meeting and visit is highly recommended.
