Description

Introduction:
PMG Technologies is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Center (MVTC) located in Blainville, Québec. PMG Technologies is planning the following purchase for Transport Canada.

Required equipment:
An articulated adult pedestrian target approved by Euro NCAP. This target must:
• Represent a 50th percentile adult male,
• Be lightweight to be easily transportable,
• Be modular and allow the replacement of damaged parts,
• Be compliant with ISO 19206-2,
• Be compatible with our propulsion systems (ABD Launchpad80, Launchpad50, SPTs),
• Have a realistic radar and lidar response,
• Have the Euro NCAP pedestrian colors (black torso and blue legs)
• Be impactable at speeds of 60 km/h or less without causing damage to either the test vehicle or the target,
• Have movable arms, legs and head.
