FARO MINE COMPLEX REMEDIATION PROJECT
INDUSTRY DAY INFORMATION SESSION
FARO, YUKON – WEDNESDAY JANUARY 9TH, 2019,
9AM-12:30PM, FARO MINE COMPLEX, 100 MINE ROAD, FARO, YUKON.

The Faro Mine Remediation Project team is a one-day industry conference, to help local and Indigenous businesses to participate in upcoming procurement opportunities at Faro Mine Complex (FMC). The Faro session includes a site tour.
The following personal protective equipment is required for those who would like to attend the mine tour:
- CSA-Approved Protective Toe Footwear
- CSA-Approved Hard Hat
- Protective Gloves
- Protective Glasses
- Reflective Vest/jacket
Orientation at Faro Mine Complex will take place at 9am. Attendees should leave enough time for travel to Faro, and check in with the Security office upon arrival. An orientation is mandatory to access the mine site, and exceptions will not be granted for late arrivals.
The Faro session will also include a luncheon at the Sportsman’s Hall in Faro, which will take place at 12:30pm. Pre-registration is required for this as well. Following the luncheon, information will be provided by Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, Parsons, and representatives from the local area, regarding the upcoming work, how to do business with local entities, and other pertinent details of the project.
