Description

The Request for Proposal (RFP) price must include the cost for all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the work outlined in this Surface Care and Maintenance solicitation and according to the attachments defined in this document. Please note that there will be no deviation to the specifications contemplated and no alternate bids will be accepted. This solicitation is based on initial evaluation of PSIB eligible businesses with a head office in the Area of the Contract. If no proponent is found during the initial evaluation, a secondary evaluation of PSIB eligible businesses will occur. Regional PSIB refers to the initial evaluation of a minimum of two bids whereby the PSIB eligible Bidder’s head office is from the Area of the Contract - if no compliant bid can be found from initial evaluation, evaluation of all other PSIB bids
continues.

The mandatory Pre-bid Conference and Site Tour is scheduled as noted above in the Procurement Schedule. Bidders must register with the Contracting Authority via Procurement.GMRP.Parsons@parsons.com no later than March 8, 2023 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s)1 who will attend. Bidders who do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment2. Any clarifications or changes to the solicitation, that result from the pre-bid conference and site visit, will be included as an amendment to this solicitation. All persons attending the site must have the proper safety footwear (CSA-approved, green triangle), hard hats, reflective
vests, and safety glasses. Bidder’s personnel who do not have the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be denied access to the site. Bidders are to sign in at the C-Dry Building at Giant Mine, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories then proceed to the second-floor meeting area.
1 Due to limited space, each attending company will be limited to two representatives, unless in a virtual setting.
2 For mandatory pre-bid conference and site visits only, whether in person or virtual.
