Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) issued by Parkland County (the “County”) is an invitation to submit non-binding offers for the provision of excavating, crushing, screening, and stockpiling granular materials at two (2) sites within Parkland County as further described in Part 4 – RFQ Particulars. The respondent selected pursuant to this RFQ process will be informed in writing. Respondents not selected will also be informed in writing. Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 242,595 hectares (599,500 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “County Contact” shall be: Parkland County Contact: Korrine McKeage, Manager, Procurement Services Email: kmckeage@parklandcounty.com 1.2 RFQ Timetable Issue Date of RFQ November 9, 2017 Pre-Quotation Meeting November 20, 2017 at 13:30:00 Deadline for Questions December 7, 2017 at 16:30:00 hrs Alberta time Deadline for Issuing Addenda December 12, 2017 Submission Deadline December 21, 2017 at 14:00:00 hrs Alberta time Rectification Period Three (3) Business Days from Notification of Rectification Anticipated Award Date January 11, 2018 Respondents are advised that a Non-mandatory Pre-Quotation Meeting is scheduled for November 20, 2017 from 13:30 to 15:00 (Alberta time). This meeting shall convene at Parkland County Centre (53109A Hwy 779), Parkland Room to discuss the main objectives of the Work, field any respondent questions. Please notify to the County Contact of your intention to attend this meeting by November 15, 2017. The RFQ timetable is tentative only, and may be changed by Parkland County at any time prior to the Submission Deadline.

All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
